Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Mappa ("we", "us") covering the Mappa iOS app and this website. By using either, you accept them.
2. Beta software
Mappa is in active development. During the beta the service is provided free of charge, features may change or be withdrawn, and — despite our offline-first design — we can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3. Your account
You're responsible for the email account you use to sign in. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
4. Your content
Your location history, trips, and photos are yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to store and display them back to you and to the friends you invite to a shared trip — nothing more. Delete your content or account at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to access other users' data, no reverse-engineering our services, no spamming shared-trip invites, and no automated scraping of the website.
6. Our property
The Mappa app, name, wordmark, and website are ours. Map data is © Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data where you have declined the sync features. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Ending things
You can stop using Mappa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
